Design & Technology

We’re at the intersection of design and technology, where future and present meet.

MIxD is a free event focused on the future of human-computer interaction design. MIxD is an opportunity to share ideas with people who are creating the future of human computer interaction, transcending disciplines of interaction design, graphic design, game art, industrial design, automotive design, and related industries.

From interactive, hands-on demonstrations featuring emerging technologies—like augmented reality or virtual reality—to workshops and presentations, you will explore how technology and design is shaping our world.

“WE BELIEVE IN A HIGH-TECH, DESIGNED FUTURE OF INCLUSIVITY – SO OUR EVENT IS EQUALLY FREE AND OPEN TO ALL AGES…”

– Mick Brege / MIxD Organizer

Where future and present meet

MIxD is a different kind of gathering. It’s casual, bold, authentic and hands on.

LISTEN

Listen to creative leaders discuss the future of digital innovation and recent advances that bridge the gap between Silicon Valley and your hometown.

LEARN

Learn through workshops and hands-on demos of the latest emerging technologies with researchers in our Discovery Space.

EXPLORE

Explore cutting-edge topics in design and technology through presentations and a panel discussion asking: “How can we push things forward?”

We believe that bringing a diverse group of minds together can help us understand how design and technology shapes our future.

– Lilian Crum / MIxD Organizer
